Learning from the shocks of COVID-19, OurHelp Paige Foundation transformed temporary relief into a sustained food security programme. The founder mobilised partners to stock a community food hub with nutritionally balanced staples and hygiene supplies.
Families register through local disability organisations, ensuring the process is dignified and stigma-free. Volunteers manage doorstep deliveries for those with limited mobility, while periodic health screenings track nutritional outcomes.
The programme now supports over 350 households each month and doubles as a skills platform where caregivers learn small-scale agribusiness techniques to strengthen long-term resilience.
