Our founder convened disability advocates, health professionals, traditional leaders, and local government officials to reflect on lessons from the pandemic. Participants discussed how relief efforts often bypassed persons with disabilities and mapped an accountability framework to change that.
The forum produced a community charter that commits service providers to accessible communication, early involvement of representative groups, and dedicated funding for adaptive equipment.
Follow-up working groups now meet quarterly to track progress, ensuring the dialogue translates into tangible infrastructure and policy reforms.
