When national lockdowns disrupted livelihoods, our founder rallied partners and volunteers to identify households of persons with disabilities who were hit hardest. Together we visited door-to-door, observing safety protocols while delivering staples such as maize, rice, beans, and cooking oil.

The relief effort prioritised elderly caregivers, single-parent households, and individuals who lost their informal income overnight. Beyond the physical supplies, the team offered counselling and information on accessible health services throughout the pandemic.

Thanks to the generosity of donors, we sustained weekly distributions for two months, ensuring over 600 families could focus on staying safe without worrying where their next meal would come from.
